STUDENTS EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO THEIR TEACHERS IN A VIBRANT TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AT GD GOENKA PUBLIC SCHOOL LUCKNOW

Lucknow: GD Goenka Public School, Lucknow celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm, creativity and heartfelt gratitude, honouring the dedication and invaluable contribution of its teachers in shaping the lives and futures of students.

The celebrations commenced with a special session in all classes, where teachers highlighted the significance of Teacher’s Day and the lasting impact educators have on their students. The day featured a vibrant blend of cultural presentations, interactive activities and fun-filled engagements, thoughtfully designed to strengthen teacher-student bonds and provide students an opportunity to express their appreciation.

Students across different grade levels participated enthusiastically in specially planned activities. Toddlers created a colourful “Sunshine of Thanks”, while Nursery students enjoyed a “Flower Hunt” and created a “Thank You Bouquet.” LKG students participated in an interactive “Action Game”, expressing their affection through fun actions and messages. UKG students enjoyed “Role-Reversal and Ramp Walk,” dressing up as teachers, imitating their mannerisms and interacting with them through interviews and a lively ramp walk. Students of Grades I and II took part in the “Teacher’s Day Challenge Box,” which encouraged teamwork, creativity, coordination and confidence through a series of entertaining challenges.

The celebrations also featured a series of cultural programmes presented by students, including choir, song medleys, dances, skits and interactive games. The Head Boy and Head Girl expressed their gratitude to the teachers and staff for their unconditional support, guidance and encouragement.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the School Dr. SarveshGoel congratulated the teachers and Principal, acknowledging their role in nurturing responsible and confident citizens. He emphasised that teachers are instrumental in shaping the future of the country and urged students to always respect and value their teachers.

Officiating Principal Ms Sonia Mathai paid tribute to Dr. SarvepalliRadhakrishnan and appreciated the teachers for their dedication and commitment. She remarked that teachers leave a lasting impression on the lives of their students and inspire them to strive for excellence. She also acknowledged that the achievements of the school are a reflection of the collective efforts and dedication of its teachers.

The Director of the school Lalita Goel and Head of the Cambridge Section, Mohsina Mirza, also graced the event with their presence.

The celebrations concluded on a joyous note with a special teachers’ after-party organised by the management. The celebration included music, dancing, entertaining games, fun-filled activities and interesting titles for the teachers, followed by a sumptuous spread. The gathering provided the staff an opportunity to relax, bond and celebrate together.

The Teacher’s Day celebration was a memorable blend of gratitude, creativity, laughter and togetherness, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing meaningful relationships between teachers and students and celebrating those who inspire young minds every day.
